INGREDIENTS:
*For the crust:
- 100gr all-purposed flour ( and extra flour for dusting)
- 50gr butter
- 2tsp sugar
- 1/4tsp salt
- 1/4tsp baking powder
- 1tsp oil
- 1 egg
* For the filling:
- 100gr grated coconut
- 25gr melted butter
- 25gr sugar ( or adjust to taste)
- 1tsp vanilla
- 2-3 drops yellow food color(optional)
* For egg wash:
- 1 egg slightly beaten
PREPARATION:
* For the filling:
- Mix coconut together with melt butter,sugar,vanilla and yellow color,then stir fry for 10 minutes and leave aside

* For the crust:
- In large mixing bowl, mix together everything except egg and oil

- When the mixture looks like breadcrum, add in egg and oil, knead well until it forms a elastic dough. If the dough is too soft, add in flour. If it's too dry, add in oil.

- Cover with plastic wrap and leave for half an hour
- Take a small portion of the dough, place in the floured surface area, then roll flat

- Place into the greased mold

- Trim off the edge

- Use the knife, pressing into the center of the mold to release air. This will prevent the dough from inflating when baked

- Fill up the mold with grated coconut

- For decorating purpose, using extra dough to create cross-lined cover. Roll the dough flat
- Cut into thin lines

- Nicely decorate ....

- Brush the top with egg wash
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until it goldens
